In the wake of Southern violence, the documentary After Sherman chronicles the wisdom passed between generations of African Americans on how to survive materially and spiritually. Post-screening discussion with filmmaker Jon Sesrie-Goff (Ford Foundation JustFilms), moderated by Chenjerai Kumanyika (NYU Journalism, Host of the podcasts, Uncivil & Empire City: The Untold Origin Story of the NYPD), followed by a reception.
