Maximina Juson: One Person One Vote?

Join the CBVC in welcoming Maximina Juson for a screening and discussion of her feature length documentary One Person One Vote? Through the eyes of four electors –– a Republican, a Democrat, a Green Party and a Kanye West elector whose motivations range from the noble to the absurd – we learn about the inner-workings of the Electoral College and its untold story. The film is an eye-opening exposè that recalls the overlooked role of slavery in its creation, and how it has dramatically impacted American politics and society, particularly with respect to vote erasure and the devaluation of the minority vote.
