"Student Perspectives: Conversations in African/Black Identity" Location: Virtual Featured Panelists: Tatyana Brown (NYU Abu Dhabi); Eric Hart (NYU Tisch School of the Arts, NYU Stern School of Business); and Marvelous Maeze (NYU College of Arts & Sciences)How are nationality and the specifics of distinctly diverse ethnicities and gender formations reshaping the framing of identity among first- and second-generation African immigrants and in their relationships with native-born U.S. African American populations in the 21st century? Each student will offer a ten-minute presentation on the seminar themes informed by coursework, research, and campus involvement.
