LA Artists and Orgs Stand in Solidarity With Anti-ICE Protesters

Small groups issue condemnations of state violence and share resources for communities under attack; big museums largely remain silent. In response to the ICE raids and subsequent protests several arts organizations have made statements in solidarity with immigrants and activists.

Four art spaces located in downtown LA — the Japanese American National Museum, Chinese American Museum, LA Plaza de Cultura y Artes, and Grand Performances — issued a joint statement calling the events a “manufactured crisis.”
