Paris Here I Come!

In 1953, Ollie Stewart, a correspondent for The Afro-American newspaper, was the first Black reporter accredited as a war correspondent during World War II, and after the war, he lived in Paris until his death in 1977.

Stewart wrote a guidebook to the French capital aimed at Black travelers. Nearly 75 years later, his grandniece follows in his footsteps.
